Use of page insights
We use the “Page Insights” analysis function from Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland; “Facebook”) on our fan page.
Meta Platforms Ireland and we are joint data controllers for the Page Insights analytics function. The basis for this is an agreement on the joint processing of personal data, which can be accessed at https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum .
Meta Platforms Ireland assumes primary responsibility for data processing under the GDPR and fulfills all obligations under the GDPR with regard to the processing of this data, including the information obligations under Articles 12 and 13 GDPR, the rights of those affected under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR and the Security requirements of Articles 32 to 34 GDPR. In addition, Meta Platforms Ireland will make the substance of the joint processing agreement available to data subjects.
The Page Insights feature is used for advertising and market research purposes, to provide you with more relevant content and to develop new features that may be of interest to you. Meta Platforms Ireland uses cookies that enable your visits to the fan page to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookies about your use of the fan page is usually transmitted to Facebook servers in the USA and stored there. There is no adequacy decision from the EU Commission for the USA. The data transfer takes place, among other things, on the basis of standard contractual clauses as appropriate guarantees for the protection of personal data, which can be viewed at: https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection/international-dimension-data-protection /standard-contractual-clauses-scc_de .

The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR due to our overriding legitimate interest in targeted advertising and the targeted design of the fan page.

Further information on terms of use and data protection can be found at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/ .

After an objection has been made, the processing of the data concerned will be terminated unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate reasons for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

For a detailed description of further data processing and the respective objection options on Facebook, we refer to the provider's information at: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/ .
