Nail designer Stefanie: “Absolutely, because this color is equally suitable for events and everyday life. It’s understatedly beautiful and yet a bit unusual – simply perfect for adding small accents!”
ND24: Can I wear pastel purple nail designs to work?
Nail designer Stefanie: “As always, of course it depends a lot on the job and the superiors. In general, I think this elegant and subtle color looks good on most jobs and doesn't appear too flashy in the right shade. I find them quite suitable for everyday life!”
ND24: Who can wear pastel purple?
Nail designer Stefanie: “In principle, anyone can wear this color, but you should definitely match the shade to your skin tone so as not to appear too pale. The range of light purple tones is large; there is a suitable shade for almost every skin color that emphasizes the advantages. As a nail designer, you should therefore have this trendy color available in several shades and variations. If you are unsure, you should try the color on one nail first and let it work for you before you decide to go for it.”
ND24: What do you think of pastel purple for holiday nail design?
Nail designer Stefanie: “I think a pastel purple for hands and/or feet is really nice in summer – this look looks great especially with tanned skin!”
ND24: What time of year do nail designs in pastel purple still fit?
Nail designer Stefanie: “In principle and in the right combination, you can wear pastel purple on your nails all year round. The look is particularly popular in spring and creates an Easter atmosphere. In autumn, the combination with nude and brown makes it a nostalgically beautiful eye-catcher. In winter, for example, you can design a decorative nail or your nail art in pastel purple, while keeping the rest of the nails in nude tones.”

“I find this wonderful color appealing not only in its pure version, but also as a metallic version with a beautiful shimmer or glitter effect,” says our expert.
